Celebrating Communities Food Festival

Fr Mathew and the SMACC Committee congratulate and thank each one of you who participated in our Celebrating Communities Event last Sunday.

From setting up in the morning until pack down in the afternoon, your presence, contributions, resources, laughter, excitement, well wishes and sense of Community was felt by all.

We thank all those involved in the planning, organizing the beautiful Mass and Blessing, managing the car-park, entertainment, all those who made food or drink, sold or bought tickets, made donations, cleaned up and those who served. Your generosity, enthusiasm and commitment has not gone unnoticed.

With your help we added to the SMACC fund approx $4000.00 ( final figure to be confirmed in future newsletter ) but more importantly we showed that our Parish can work together to celebrate each other and our cultural differences. What a blessing you all are!

Our team continues to work on other events that we can do throughout the year to reach our goal of a 2020 completion date. With your continued help, support and prayers, we’ll get there together.

Thank you again and God bless.

SMACC Committee.

Parish Mercy Corner

Mercy Corner

Welcome to the Mercy Corner in the Church Foyer.

The materials provided is helpful for our reflection on the merciful face of the Father. Behind the Cross there is a food basket into which we shall certainly bring our gifts for the poor: a sign of our desire to reach out to those in need.

We acknowledge the endeavours of the volunteers in putting it up. May the visit to the Mercy Corner help all people to strengthen their faith in God who responds with the fullness of mercy and wants us to be merciful like the Father in this Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy.
